If you send us a resume via email, we will send a reply email, letting you that we received it.  If you do not get a  reply email within one business day, please resend until  you get a response or give us a call.

Reasons Why You Should Send Us an Emailed  Resume:
1. It looks more professional.  Emailed resumes come out cleaner.  If you email your resume to us, then we can email it to our  clients.  In today's world of e-commerce, many of our clients prefer or only  accept emailed resume submittals.  If it is faxed to the client, it comes out crooked, things get distorted, and comes out with a  bunch of numbers on the top.  Also, if you email a resume, at  least they know that you can use a computer.  Mailing a resume says to us "can this person even use a computer?"
 

2.  It gets you jobs.  If you mail or fax your resume to us, we have to scan it in.  Sometimes, the scanner doesn't recognize certaind  characters and inserts what they think  it should be.  So, instead of having "Auticad 2000" on your resume, it's "Auto card ?000."  When we put "autocad 2000" as a search term, guess who's resume fails to  show  up.  If you don't show up in a search, you may be missing out on jobs.
 

3.  It's easier for us.   When you get  your resume on the hard copy, it get put in a pile to be reviewed, then goes in a pile to scan, then it gets scanned. Then we have to file the resume.
 

4.  There is always internet access available.  If you don't have a computer, you can always go to your public library, most have computers with  internet access available.   If you are uncomfortable with sending email, many libraries offer a class on this, or you can always ask your local librarian for help. 
 

5.   Keep in Touch. Email is also a great way to stay in touch with us while you are on the road.  When traveling, you can usually find a library or  an internet cafe where you can check your  email.  Many Job Shoppers are now taking a laptop on the road with them.  That way when your contract ends, you can update your resume, email it out  to your favorite shops, and communicate with people on the  road.
